Excellent Product for Seniors

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
My mom and I recently decided to get this for my grandmother and it was a wise choice. My grandmother recently had a hip surgery/replacement and it was recommended that we get something like this if she still wanted to remain independent in her condo in Florida. So far it has been great. My grandmother finds it easy to use (she struggles with her iPhone, but seems to understand this better). Other products like LifeAlert where too bulky or a necklace type emblem. My grandmother feels this is more natural as she's used to wearing watches. Good choice for now. I think that as my grandmother gets older we will need something with professional monitoring, but this does the trick so far.
Purchased for a kid

We purchased this for our 11 year old son, who isn't ready for a smart watch and is too old for the kids gizmo watch with all the cartoon icons and such. The sound quality during phone calls is much better with this watch then the gizmo. It's easy to use, has the tracking, simple texting, and looks like an 'adult' watch. Great purchase for us. I think this is a great idea for seniors as well - it's not confusing and over loaded with options, buttons are large. You can swipe like a regular apple watch to get to your options, which there were more on here than I expected.
Super Simple to Set Up!

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
This is a simplest way for seniors or even young kids to own a device that is essentially a phone, without the complexity of a real phone. The instructions were simple & easy to follow and I can't wait for my parents to tell me what they think! So far it is good news because they want to wear it! You do need to walk through the app and set up the watch for them, I do not think its instinctive for a 75yr old but I do know people differ in tech knowledge. The app steps could be improved a little and text to speech in cool!
It's like a super old cool watch!

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
Was an early tester and gave this to my mom. She tends to forget a lot and it helped to set reminders and allow me to track her when she would go out for groceries. The watch itself is light and simple with not too many bells and whistles. I can set geofence alerts to let me know when she leaves the house and can also do realtime tracking if Im worried she got lost. Overall its just some peace of mind to keep tabs and in touch of my aging mother.
Love it for security if i need help.

Love all features. Received watch 1 day, that night husband fell and i called daughter on it. Continued to talk to her while i called for fire department to get husband up. Wish battery lasted longer. Useful for tracking steps. No robo calls, comfortable, i have small wrist, also love no expensive monthly charges. Received this from my son. Would reomnend children getting this for elderly parents.
Easy to use, but not enough features

We purchased this watch for our 89 year old father, so he can call us when he needs help and we can call him to see how he's doing. He's not always near the home phone and does not like carrying the cell phone. The watch is easy to set up and use, but it lacks two very important features. It does not have a vibrate mode (Dad is hard of hearing), and it does not have a missed phone call/text log, so he doesn't know when we're trying to contact him. If these two features were included, it would be perfect. Other smart watches require phone pairing (extra cost) and are too difficult for him to use.
1. Only one designated emergency contact can be called, which must be created during setup.
2. Data usage applies for app download and use.
3. Numbers must be registered through the Care Smart App. Care Smart watch permits up to nine contacts in addition to the primary registered caregiver.
4. Dependent on carrier coverage. Device must be turned on. Consent to location tracking is required during pairing; the watch will receive notifications about location tracking 24 hours after pairing is complete, and at 30-day intervals thereafter. These notifications let wearers know that their location is being shared with their Trusted Contacts. Verizon makes no representations or warranties about the availability or accuracy of the GPS or about the accuracy or completeness of any map data or other information.
