Call quality and reception are good even indoors in Vermont (a feat!) and T9 makes the minimal texting I need to do easy enough. I can wait to go home and use a PC messenger if I want to have a rapid fire text conversation. Takes bumps and bounces well, battery lasts and lasts. Pleasant little device, especially at $30.

i needed to get my uncle on my phone plan so when this phone was avail i purchased it and put it on my monthly plan. He had an alcatel prior and felt this was easier to use.

Saw many reviews saying this phone was not good, but also a few saying it was fine if you just needed a basic phone. So far it has been reliable. I only use it for calls now and then. It shows missed calls and works normally. I charge it once a week. It does have a few unnecessary steps for things, but they do not make it a bad phone.

This basic phone replaced another 5 yr. old basic flip phone. What an upgrade. My 91 year old mother in law doesn’t use the internet or texting and this is a great buy. I was concerned because of limited ratings and a low price. It is easy for her to use and see keyboard and screen. I expected to not find voice clarity but that too is pretty good. Keep in mind the cost of this phone. Who knows if it will last but after 5 days, it has exceeded my expectations. My only knock (and it may be me) is entering contacts to the phone. It seems one must quit and re-enter the system to enter next contact. Certainly manageable though.

simple to use and adjust the features for an older user

Nobody, including Verizon and Kazun, sells a replacement battery for this phone. Cannot believe a company like Verizon would do this to people buying and using one of their phones.
