Great for my daughter with Special needs

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

She doesn’t communicate very well but this has helped her remember things to do with an alarm. People can call her and she smiles when they do. Going to a day program it lets me know where she is and how many steps she takes a day there.

Gives me Peace of Mind; Gives my Daughter Freedom

I bought this as a Christmas present for my seven-year old daughter, and now that she has been using it for six months I feel comfortable submitting a review. PROS: - I. Love. The. Tracking. Feature. This lets my daughter walk to her friends house and I feel safe know that my daughter is **actually** at her friend's house. This, in my opinion, worth every penny. - Easy to make calls - I personally like that the text function is limited. This is appropriate for the age-group that the GizmoWatch is for. CON - This watch is for a very niche demographic: old enough to be able to have some independence, but too young for a real cellphone. I feel like my daughter will be outgrowing this within a year, but that is not the product's fault. As far as wear and tear? After six months of daily wear I am thinking about replacing the band because of stains, but that is it. This watch is built very well.

Not sure why there's so many bad reviews. My 9 year old has been using this consistently since school started up again and parents aren't allowed on campus. We can tell him where to meet us and if we're running a bit late. Also, him and his sister go down to the neighborhood park and I can track them and make sure I know where they are. Also, amazing at amusement parks. I will say you need to stay on top of charging the battery though.

Going against the grain here...We love this watch!

In spite of the many negative reviews, we bought this a few months ago for our 8 year old who has recently begun walking to friends houses on his own in our neighborhood. We did have to buy a different charger for it (we got a stand that he can easily manage on his own instead of the odd-shaped charger that it comes with) as well as a velcro band (the band is universal for smartwatches, so that was simple and cheap), but other than that, it's been a fantastic product! Given the cost of it, I can't complain about having to spend a few extra dollars to customize it (don't we do that with all of our phones anyway?) He is able to let us know he's staying at a friend's house for a bit or that he's bringing a herd of children back to our house. We can call him or text him and figure out where he is based on the GPS tracking. The battery life is 4-5 days with moderate usage (he only wears it when he's on escapades in the neighborhood, not all the time). We have not had any of the problems others are complaining about with inaccurate data, but we are located in a large city, so perhaps signal is a factor. If this kind of use sounds like you and your child, I highly recommend this watch.

Love the Gizmo

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This watch offers a piece of mind for parents to have the ability to contact their children. The tracker does not work in real time like the Life 360 app, but when my son is off gallivanting the neighborhood, I can easily track him down. This watch is perfect for kids who aren’t quite ready for the responsibility of a phone.
