Verizon Jetpack MiFi 8800L

I was very worried when reading the reviews about this item, however needing a mobile hotspot and having limited choices I went for it. This device is amazing and works for my needs. For about half of the year I live near the lake in an area that does not offer normal internet so I always used my phone. However I got tired of always draining my phone battery and wanted a stand alone hotspot. This device has worked flawless for me with ZERO issues. I see in the reviews alot of people saying the their device disconnects a lot. Within the Mifi there is a sleep setting, that puts the device to sleep if no connected device are using the internet for x number of minutes. If you turn this off, the device is always on and ready to use and you wont experience the device disconnecting. The only two down falls of this device are My battery life is not close to 24 hours, at most 8 hours of constant use. The device will almost get me through a full work day. The touch screen is extremely unresponsive and you have to touch things just in the right places. Over all great device helps me stay connected and work even from the lake, I am pretty far from a tower, however this device gets a better signal and speed than my Iphone 12 pro max does.

I have never had signal loss once and the speeds are great. I use mine for streaming on my tablet and for Netflix and Hulu on the lower level. Works great. Don't know why anyone is complaining/

We've had our 8800l for 2 years now and admit it's one of the best purchases we made for our RV lifestyle. No problems except we've noticed on end-of-cycle day that service gets slow. Watch on-line movies and such on Smart TV and surf internet on laptop at same time...no issues even if only 2-3 bars. Just don't leave it always on charger...Will ruin battery.

Got this to take camping and it works really well and so easy to use. Gotta be connected when there is no service. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

I have had this jetpack for a week now and I have to say it is amazing!!! The speeds I get on it are faster than what I get on my pixel 3 standing in the same spot. The wifi range is decent. I use mine as a substitute for home internet so it is on 24/7 and as long as i charge it for a couple of hours during the day and overnight it hasn't dropped below 25%. Pairing this device with the new prepaid unlimited plan from Verizon is working great. You are always subject to network management but there is no hard cap to the amount of data you can use. If you live in a rural area with limited internet options and a strong Verizon signal this is a plan & jetpack I highly recommend. The only issue I have had with it is that 2-3 times a day the jetpack will kick off all of my connected devices for 30 seconds to 1 minute. All the devices will automatically reconnect without me having to do anything. This is not a big deal for me so I still give it 5 stars.

After reading some negative reviews about this hotspot I was hesitant to try it but I'm so glad I did! It powered through 12 devices, 3 days in a row, 8 hours a day and it never failed, slowed down or reset itself. It was used for an art how powering Square machines and laptops in a large building. We had coverage in the whole space and the speed was amazing. The "sleep setting" needs to be turned off or it will disconnect occasionally. It's easy to use, the display shows everything you need know about speed/data use and battery levels and you can control many of the settings right on the device. It's small and easy to carry in your pocket.
