Yes, I'd recommend this product.
I had a lot of LG HBS-headsets so far and was very disappointed by the lack of bass of the HBS-1100. The HBS-XL7 has a very rich sound again: I recommend to install the "Tone & Talk"-App to be able to set the internal equalizer to "Bass Boost". On SAMSUNG smartphones (e.g. Galaxy S9) I recommend to activate Dolby Atmos in automatic mode and set the left rotary button to full bass and the right one to the full right stop ("song" ?!). The Tone & Talk app will also allow you to use some fancy and helpful extra features with the headset. The Google Assistant function is nicely integrated by a dedicated button. The design is very slim and futuristic and buttons with double functions help to keep a minimalist look. Call-quality is excellent, even during noisy car-drives. The battery is powerful enough to continuously listen to music for many hours. The retractable ear buds are perfect to get the cables out of your way, when they are not needed.
Awesome product best in years!

I am a die hard LG Tone fan. Always loved the product, and I have struggled with new models over the years because I have small ears and wider ear canals. (I am a Nurse Anesthetists and I have ear molds made, which is the only reason I know that about myself). Anyway, everything eventually hurts my ears, including kids ear buds. This product DOES NOT!!!! I switched out the ear buds on the item for the small buds that came with it. I can put the device in my ears and not even notice it is there! The battery lasts forever, it is comfortable, and the microphones are very strong. Dual microphones are essential because if one gets covered up the other one is there to catch your voice. I do not listen to music - I am a podcast/ audiobook person. However even the music sounds decent in this device. The volume control is the best in years. I am very happy and I want to buy another one just in case something happens to my current item. This is a great LG Tone and I cannot recommend it highly enough!
An upgrade from HBS-910

I loved my HBS model for at least 3 years but I had a hard time finding them lately. Everyday use will break them eventually, I accept that. I really don't like Apple Airpods, and I like the around the neck style more than any other style. This model has better sound then the HBS, it feels way better around the neck and lighter, it's more flexible, the Bluetooth is solid when I have my phone in my pocket and I'm moving around (The HBS would cut out sometimes). The controls are a little different, but not something I can't get used to. The charger is now USB C, so be prepared for that.. I don't mind since my Ipad is like that on a plane. So far the battery life works for me, I listened to music for 6 hours and didn't need a charge. Call quality is the same, but I have not checked to see if background noise is better than HBS-910. I can highly recommend doing this purchase though, especially if you are looking to replace their older HBS-910 or similar model,
Good sound and comfortable to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG TONE Flex Bluetooth headset provides good sound quality while being very convenient and comfortable to use. This headset is a neckband design with retractable earbuds and has a longer battery life that wireless in ear designs lack. I get around 10 hours from a full charge, so no problems with it lasting a full work day. It uses Bluetooth 5.0 and has a 32-bit HiFi Meridian DAC, the sound is very good for a wireless headset. The sound is detailed and balanced with no glaring faults. Low quality music files sound a bit better from the up-sampling the DAC performs. I do wish it had aptX in addition to AAC support. There are two microphones so the voice call quality had no issues when I tested it. The Google Assistant feature is a handy to have available as well even if you don't plan on using it.
