- Lexus: Lexus vehicles with Enform 2.0 are currently eligible to get Connected Car Wi-Fi service
- Mercury: Mercury vehicles manufactured between 2010-2011 using Lincoln Smartlink

With Connected Car Wi-Fi you can be on one of our current Unlimited plans, shared data plans or any of our older unlimited or shared data plans.

Connected Car Wi-Fi service is a line on your existing Verizon account. It will appear on your monthly bill and in My Verizon under My Devices.
Not with Verizon yet? Lexus, Toyota, Mazda, and Volkswagen customers can take advantage of our $20 Unlimited Prepaid plan by selecting the Prepaid option on the Connected Car Plans page or contacting the above Verizon Telesales support.
Note: Connected Car is not eligible on the $15 / 1 GB Single Line Data Plan or Data only plans. -
How do I get Connected Car Wi-Fi?
Lexus and Toyota
For eligible Lexus and Toyota vehicles with embedded Connected Car Wi-Fi, simply connect to the Wi-Fi in your vehicle. The first time you connect you'll be given the option to sign up for the free trial. Refer to the Lexus and Toyota section of the FAQs for more details about the free trial.
Once your free Connected Car Wi-Fi trial has expired you'll be redirected to a sign up page where you can sign up for Connected Car Wi-Fi. You can also add Connected Car Wi-Fi to your account in My Verizon once the free trial has ended.
Mazda
For eligible Mazda vehicles with embedded Connected Car Wi-Fi, simply connect to the Wi-Fi in your vehicle. The first time you connect you'll be given the option to sign up for the free trial. Refer to the Mazda section of the FAQs for more details about the free trial.
VW
For eligible VW vehicles with embedded Connected Car Wi-Fi, simply visit the VW Car-Net website. New vehicle owners will be given the option to sign up for the free Car-Net trial which includes Wi-Fi. If you are not eligible for a free trial, you can sign up for a paid Connected Car Wi-Fi subscription through the Verizon website or the VW Car-Net website. Refer to the VW section of the FAQs for more details about the free trial.
When you connect to the in-vehicle Wi-Fi once your free Connected Car Wi-Fi trial has expired, your browser will redirect to a sign up page where you can sign up for Connected Car Wi-Fi. -
I'm already with Verizon, how can I get Connected Car Wi-Fi?
Once you've completed the free trial, you can add your Connected Car Wi-Fi hotspot to your account in My Verizon.
To add a Connected Car hotspot to your account:- Go to our Bring Your Own Device page (BYOD).
- Click or tap I have Verizon.
- Sign in to My Verizon, if prompted, and enter your device's IMEI in the device ID field. Not sure how to find your IMEI? Refer to these instructions on how to find the IMEI for:
- Follow the prompts to add Connected Car Wi-Fi as a line on your account from within the vehicle and follow the prompts through your mobile device to add device to your existing account. You can also contact Verizon Telesales to complete order for Wi-Fi service.

I'm not with Verizon Wireless yet. Can I still get Connected Car Wi-Fi?
If your vehicle supports Connected Car Wi-Fi, you can create a new Verizon account after completing your in-vehicle Wi-Fi trial.
To add a Connected Car hotspot to your account:- Go to our Bring Your Own Device page (BYOD).
- Click or tap I am not with Verizon
- Enter your device’s IMEI in the device ID field. Not sure how to find your IMEI? Refer to these instructions on how to find the IMEI for:
- Follow the prompts to create a new account and add Connected Car Wi-Fi as a line on your account through Broadband Portal.

Can I transfer my Connected Car Wi-Fi line to another eligible vehicle?
No. You can't transfer a Connected Car Wi-Fi line to another vehicle.
You have to cancel your existing Connected Car Wi-Fi line of service and create a new one. To complete this process, click the Chat with us button at the bottom right corner of this page to contact one of our representatives. -
How do I know my Connected Car Wi-Fi service is active?
Once you've added Connected Car Wi-Fi to your Verizon account, or created a new Verizon account with Connected Car Wi-Fi, connect a device to the Wi-Fi hotspot in your vehicle and check your internet connection.
Always pay close attention to the road, don't use your device while driving, and don't drive when distracted. -
