SLING on us FAQs

SLING is a TV service that lets you stream live television and On-Demand content over the internet. You can choose the television option that's right for you, add Extras, Premiums, DVR and more. Get sports, news and entertainment with over 30 channels, more than 80,000 On-Demand shows and movies. No rental equipment is required. No contract is required.

If you are a new or current Verizon customer (Fios, wireless or 5G Home Internet) and do not currently have a SLING account, you may be eligible for SLING on us for either 2 or 3 months, depending upon the SLING service(s) you select. If you qualify for the promotion, you can choose from the following TV services:

• 2 months of SLING Blue or SLING Orange ($35/month)
• 2 months of SLING International (Pick 1 of 14 services, rates vary)
• 3 months of SLING Latino (Pick any 2-services up to $15/month)

The SLING on us offer is valid from 5/19/2021-2/19/2022.

After the promotional period ends, your SLING programming will automatically be billed by SLING at the standard monthly rate for the service(s) you've selected.

You can cancel your service anytime on the SLING website.

Once the promotional period is over, you will be billed by SLING at the standard monthly rate for the service(s) you selected, as listed below.

Note: After the promotional period, SLING's programming fees are charged monthly in advance and no credits or refunds will be issued for partial or prepaid months after cancellation.

You're eligible for SLING on us if you are a new or current Verizon customer with an active Fios internet, wireless or 5G Home Internet account, and you are a new subscriber to SLING.

You are not eligible for the SLING on us offer if you have a mailing address of Maine or New Mexico.

Note: Verizon Prepaid, and existing or former SLING customers, are not eligible for this offer.

Before redeeming the SLING on us promotion, new mobile customers need to have an active wireless or 5G Home Internet service and must register for a My Verizon mobile account.

Only the Verizon Account Owner or Account Manager can register for SLING on us.

Existing mobile customers:

From the My Verizon mobile website:

1. Sign in to your My Verizon mobile account.
2. Find the SLING tile located at the bottom of the page under Recommended for You. The tile will display your redeem-by date. Click on Get Started.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the SLING redemption page, click Go to SLING, and you will be linked to a Verizon-specific SLING web page.
4. Select a SLING service, and create a SLING account. You will be required to provide an email address and a valid form of payment (credit card, debit card or PayPal).
5. You will get an email from SLING confirming that your account has been activated, along with instructions on how to start viewing SLING.
6. To start watching, download the Sling TV app from the App Store® on your Apple® device or Google Play™ Store on your Android™ device.

From the My Verizon app:

1. Sign in to the My Verizon App.
2. Scroll down and tap the SLING tile.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the next page, tap Go to SLING, and you will be linked to a Verizon-specific SLING web page.
4. Select a SLING service, and create a SLING account. You will be required to provide an email address and valid form of payment (credit card, debit card or PayPal).
5. You will get an email from SLING confirming that your account has been activated, with instructions on how to start viewing SLING.
6. To start watching, download the Sling TV app from the App Store on your Apple device or Google Play Store on your Android device.

Before redeeming the SLING on us promotion, new Fios customers need to have active internet service, added SLING in their initial order and must register for a My Verizon home account.

Existing Fios Customers:

From the My Verizon home website:

1. Sign in to your My Verizon home (Fios) account. Visit the My Plan page (at top of page, click Account, then Plan Overview).
2. Select Add Live TV, or if you already have Fios TV service, click Add Streaming Video. Click on the SLING tile, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Checkout.
3. After you receive an order confirmation email from Verizon, sign in to your My Verizon home account.
4. Look for the SLING tile on the My Verizon home dashboard, and click Get Started.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the SLING redemption page, click Go to SLING, and you will be linked to a Verizon-specific SLING web page.
6. Select a SLING service, and create a SLING account. You will be required to provide an email address and valid form of payment (credit card, debit card or PayPal).
7. You will get an email from SLING confirming that your account has been activated, with instructions on how to start viewing SLING.
8. To start watching, download the Sling TV app from the App Store on your Apple device or Google Play Store on your Android device.

From the My Fios app:

1. Sign in to the My Fios App. Navigate to the My Plan page (at the top right, tap on the menu and then tap My Plan).
2. From the My Plan page, tap on Add or Change My Plan.
3. Tap on Add Live TV to expand, or if you already have Fios TV service, tap on Add Streaming Video to expand. Tap on the SLING tile, then scroll to the bottom of the page and tap on Checkout.
4. After you receive an order confirmation email from Verizon, sign in to the My Fios App.
5. Swipe the banner at the top of the screen to locate and tap the SLING tile.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the SLING redemption screen, click Go to SLING, and you will be linked to a Verizon-specific SLING web page.
7. Select a SLING service, and create a SLING account. You will be required to provide an email address and valid form of payment (credit card, debit card or PayPal).
8. You will get an email from SLING confirming that your account has been activated, with instructions on how to start viewing SLING.
9. To start watching, download the Sling TV app from the App Store on your Apple device or Google Play Store on your Android device.

The SLING on us offer is valid from 5/19/2021-2/19/2022. You will have 60 days to redeem the promotion, depending on your service activation date:

• Verizon wireless and 5G Home Internet customers who have an active Verizon account prior to 5/19/2021 can redeem the offer from 5/19/2021-7/18/2021 on the Verizon-specific SLING website.
• Verizon wireless and 5G Home Internet customers who joined Verizon after 5/19/2021 have 60 days from the activation date of a new smartphone or 5G Home Internet service to redeem the offer on the Verizon-specific SLING website.
• If you are a new Fios Internet or Fios TV customer, you must select SLING when signing up for new internet or TV service. The redemption period is 60 days from activation or your order completion date.
• If you are an existing Fios customer, you must go to the My Plans page and add SLING to your service. The redemption period is 60 days from activation or your order completion date.

If you can't find the tile, either the offer has already been redeemed or you have exceeded the 60-day redemption period.

After the 2-month or 3-month promotional period ends, you will be billed by SLING at the standard monthly rate for the services(s) you selected.

In New Mexico, third-party services are prohibited from appearing on your wireless bill.

After you have created a SLING account, in addition to the SLING services included in the promotion, you can add Extras, Premiums, additional hours of Cloud DVR and more. You must prepay SLING for any additional services not included in the promotion, including any associated taxes.

From the SLING website:

Sign in to your account on the SLING website and select Change Subscription. Follow the prompts to add, remove, or swap your subscriptions.

From the SLING app:

Launch the SLING app and go to the My TV page. Scroll down until you find the Add Premium Channels & More ribbon. Follow the prompts to add Extras, Premiums, or additional hours of Cloud DVR.

Charges for any Extras added to your SLING subscription are collected immediately by SLING at a prorated amount for the remainder of your current SLING billing cycle. On your SLING renewal date, you'll be charged the full price for your new SLING service.

When removing an Extra from your SLING subscription, the Extra will be removed on your renewal date, and you won't be charged for the SLING service.

You can cancel your SLING subscription anytime by managing your subscription in your SLING account.

Note: SLING fees are charged monthly in advance and no credits or refunds will be issued for partial or prepaid months after cancellation.

If you cancel your Verizon account prior to the expiration of the promotional period, you will continue to receive the programming on us. After the promotional period ends, you will automatically be billed by SLING at the current standard monthly rate, unless you cancel on the SLING website.

If you are already paying for SLING services, those SLING services will remain unchanged and SLING will continue to bill you at the current standard monthly rate, unless you cancel on the SLING website.

You can continue to manage your SLING account from the SLING website.

SLING Blue, SLING International and SLING Latino subscribers get up to 3 simultaneous streams across devices.

SLING Orange users can only stream on 1 device.
