Which Unlimited phone plans are eligible for the Verizon discovery+ promotion?
Get discovery+ on us for 12 or 6 months when you have or sign up for one of these unlimited plans by 8/19/21:
- Play More Unlimited or Get More Unlimited: Get a 12-month subscription to discovery+ on us when you have or sign up for Play Unlimited or Go Unlimited.
- Other Unlimited Plans: Get a 6-month subscription to discovery+ on us when you have or sign up for any Unlimited wireless plan other than Play More/Get More Unlimited.

What is the Verizon discovery+ promotion available with Verizon 5G Home Internet?

If I am already a discovery+ subscriber, can I use my Verizon promotion?
Yes. Refer to the section below that describes how your current discovery+ subscription is being billed today.
My discovery+ subscription is currently:- Billed by discovery+:
Follow the instructions to enroll in discovery+ through Verizon and sign in to your discovery+ account to apply the offer. If you have an existing subscription to discovery+ billed by discovery+, the subscription through Verizon will immediately replace your existing subscription, and you will be refunded for the unused portion of fees paid for the current month. - Billed by a third party:
If your discovery+ subscription is billed by a third party, the Verizon offer will not automatically replace this subscription. Billing is managed directly by those third-party vendors, and discovery+ does not have the ability to make changes to these subscriptions. After you enroll in your subscription through Verizon and finish setting up your account, you will receive an email with information about how to manage your existing subscription billed by a third party.

If you purchased discovery+ through a third party, you'll need to contact them to manage your subscription. Unfortunately, we can't make any adjustments to your existing subscription billed through a third party.

How do I sign up for the discovery+ promotion using the My Verizon app?
If you have an eligible plan and are the Account Owner or an Account Manager, follow these steps:
- Open the My Verizon app.
- Tap the Menu icon in the lower right, then tap Add-ons and Apps. You'll be asked to sign in.
- Go to the All tab and find the discovery+ add-on in the Explore all add-ons section.
- Swipe to discovery+ and tap Learn More.
- Review the offer and accept the Terms and Conditions. Then tap Enroll in discovery+.
- Tap Go to discovery+.
- You'll be prompted to install the discovery+ app on your device.
On the discovery+ app:
- Open the discovery+ app on your device, then tap Sign In.
- Enter the email address and password you created for discovery+.
You've completed your discovery+ enrollment.
Note: You must be the account owner or account manager to enroll. -
How do I sign up for the discovery+ promotion using My Verizon online?
If you have an eligible plan, you can follow these steps:
- Register or sign in to My Verizon.
- From the top menu, choose Plan, then Add-ons and apps.
- Click View all Add-ons and click discovery+.
- From the discovery+ section, choose Get it now.
- Review and accept the discovery+ offer terms and conditions.
- Click Enroll in discovery+.
- Click Go to discovery+.
- You’ll be taken to the discovery+ sign in page to set up your discovery+ account.
Note: Each discovery+ promotion can only be applied to 1 discovery+ account. - Follow the steps to sign in to discovery+ or create a new discovery+ account.
- Download and install the discovery+ app on your device.
On the discovery+ app:
- Open the discovery+ app on your device, then tap Sign In.
- Enter the email address and password you created for discovery+.
You’ve completed your discovery+ enrollment.

What happens at the end of the promotion?
After your discovery+ promotional subscription ends, the discovery+ promotion automatically changes to a discovery+ (Ad-Free) paid subscription. Your Verizon account is charged $6.99/month.
You can cancel discovery+ at any time.
Note: If you're in New Mexico your discovery+ promotion ends automatically after the promotional period and you can re-enroll at the normal price. -
What happens if I get the discovery+ promotion and I cancel or change my Unlimited phone plan?
If you cancel your qualifying Verizon service(s), going forward, you'll no longer get the discovery+ on us offer.

What happens if I change my Unlimited phone plan to a non-qualifying plan?
If you change to a non-qualifying service, you no longer get the discovery+ on us offer. The discovery+ subscription fee applies and you’ll see a $6.99 charge for discovery+ (Ad-Free) under Add-ons on your bill when you switch. You can cancel the subscription any time through Verizon.

What if I cancel Verizon service altogether?
If you cancel your Verizon service entirely, your discovery+ subscription is canceled.

What happens to my discovery+ subscription if I need to suspend my Verizon service?
If you suspend your service your promotion will resume when your service is restored.

I received an error message when activating my discovery+ with a Verizon Unlimited plan. What should I do?
If you're trying to activate your discovery+ subscription through Verizon and you receive an error message that your activation was unsuccessful, try going back to your Verizon account and starting the activation again.
If you already have a discovery+ subscription through Verizon, you'll need to activate all discovery+ services using the same email address you used to set up your existing discovery+ account.
If you're unable to remember the email address you used to set up your discovery+ account, please contact us.
