Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW

Screen has no scratches or cracks dropped many times and have no screen protector truly rugged waterproof also strong long lasting battery good for communication with my workers with push to talk samsung and apple should learn how to create a phone like this but then again they wont be able to sell you their new phone every year with minimal upgrades this phone will last the duration of your contract and still look new kyocera team has created the best phone series in the duraphorce and with the verizon saphire sheild this phone is a true gem very underated in the media it is a must have for hard working people..P.S i clean my phone while i take a shower so it is cleaner than most people phones and during these tuff times that is like gold A+++++++++++

1st day I got it it fell 6feet into the shower ( listening to music) no damage whatsoever. I liked my 1st phone so much when 5g model came out I had to get it. It does everything it says it does.

I've waited a while to write this review just in case some problem reared it's ugly head. This is actually my second Ultra 5G. The first one I had to return the next day because it would not stay connected to the network. This phone is as rugged as they claim. Battery life is fantastic.I can play on facebook all day and still have plenty of battery left. It also charges really fast. This is the loudest phone I have ever had. I have to keep the volume turned down all the time.because it will wake the dead when it rings.All the apps work great and load fast. The battery doesn't get hot when using apps like my old droid turbo did. Now for the bad. It does sometimes drop service when signal is weak and I have to reboot the phone. The alert sounds for everything is the default. You have to navigate a few menus to change them after watching a youtube on how to do it. And that's it! If anything changes i'll update this review.

Went from note 10 ultra to the ultra. Seems to be as fast sound quality is great. Cameras are great. phone calls are clear. Rugged design is wonderful having farmers hands the phone fits my paws great. Only problem no grip on the back very slippery. very robust design should have more tacky grip surfaces. Found a slip on soft shell alleviated the problem. Very impressive smartphone

Doesn't get more durable than this!

After you get over the sticker shock not a lot has changed from the Pro 2. Bigger battery, taller screen, a few extra features in the Camera app that I haven't really played with much in 4 days. Many phones have been coming with the taller screen for a few years and most apps do utilize the space well. Kyocera/Verizon have been stopping updates on older models once new ones come out so you're probably not going to keep getting updates o n the Pro 2 when they stop selling it. I had the Brigadier, Pro, Pro2 and all had some problems when they were new. No problems yet with the Ultra. Skinny jean pockets need not apply.
