OnePlus 8 5G UW

I really like the design, but the front camera in the middle or as pop up like on the OP (OnePlus) 7 Pro would have been great, but thats just preference. I would HIGHLY recommend once you get the phone to go into 'Settings' and 'System Updates', and do all the updates! That fixed all my issues. I dont have any WiFi and Mobile connection issues atm. Updates are from Verizon path not OP directly, so the updates will be delayed. If that is a major problem for you then you'll have to buy the phone upfront from OP. I'm also very happy with the build quality, and the feel of the phone. I do have 5g in my area it works extremely well. WiFI 6 AX also works excellent, I get over 800 meg down at home on this phone. I have used this phone extensively, and after doing all the System and App updates I havent had any freezing issues. Screen seems to work great on 90hz, and using the P3 color profile i selected in the Settings. I've also done a good amount of gaming, and can run them all on max settings and the performance is great. I have mainly been an iPhone user since the iPhone 3g, but recently have tried, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and LG V series. Always ended up returning them and going back to my iPhone. This has been the only Android phone I love more than my iPhone. After 1 month of using this, already gave my old iphone to family. Honestly if your an iPhone user looking to get out of the Apple walled garden I found the interface and performance of this device to be very good. I dont have any regrets so far, its worth a try.

Insane

I am beyond happy with this phone. I have been a faithful Samsung user for almost 10 years and this phone is comparable. This phone has everything for 2/3 the price of the other high end flagships. I will miss Samsung's cameras, as they are the best in the biz no doubt. However, this phone has an outstanding camera for the $$.

1st experience with a ONEPLUS phone and I am sold on them!

I was relunctant to purchase the OnePlus because I am a long-time Samsung owner. I decided on OnePlus because of previous research on their products and the price. I am glad that I did. It's fast, nicely designed, and has cool features. I am excited to own this phone. My only complaint is that there is not a large variety of phone cases and accessories for this model.

I have used Iphones for years, so glad I chose this phone. The screen is crisp and clear. Battery life is awesome. lasts all day. Very slim and barely any bezel. Easy to rearrange the Icons on the screen. Good sound, has a Dolby equalizer to help get the best sound. excellent video playback as well. Very clean and clear calls, speaker phone and bluetooth calls sound and work great. Had a bit of trouble activating, but I did do an upgrade, so once I turned off old phone, I logged into verizon, it activated fine. I would recommend a case, because the outer finish leaves it a bit slippery to the touch, but that could just be me.
