i am coming from a galaxy 8+. this has improved with pic quality. battery life seems about the same. overall i dont see any negative besides the price

So for those of you confused about this, this version does not come with the MicroSD card or the 12 GB RAM. If you buy from Best Buy or Samsung, you can get the phone you're actually looking for on your Verizon Plan, but Verizon themselves do not carry the one you are looking for.
Verizon selling two different versions of this phone???

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
I purchased 2 of these from Verizon 07/2020 and they are exactly what they are advertised to be. They do indeed have the SD card slot and will accept sizes up to 1TB. They have the full 12GB of RAM and the 5G works just fine although 4G speeds are currently faster at around 120Mbps down and 20Mbps up on average. The phones are extremely fast and responsive, and we haven't experienced any freezing or unusual behavior, gaming is great. Upgrading from the S9+ these are notably faster with better voice quality and the cameras are fantastic. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about these phones and wonder if and/or why there would be two completely different versions being shipped by Verizon.

I haven't had any problem with this phone yet I keep seeing everyone say there is no SD spot on the phone not sure y they say that I have on and it works perfect
