Your secret question is a question you set up when you originally established your account. This is a question only you would know and someone attempting to access your account could not answer. Examples could include: What was the name of your first pet? or What is your favorite movie? By answering this question correctly, you will be able to reset your password.
How do I change my secret Question?
To manage existing sub accounts, go to My Verizon. Select Profile from the top navigation. On the Profile page, scroll down and next to Sub Accounts select See All, then select the sub account you wish to manage. Note: sub-account creation and management is only available to Fios TV customers.
A Fios TV customer can create a sub account so users can access any services assigned to them by the primary account holder (e.g. View TV programming through Fios Mobile App for Fios TV Private customers). Note: This does not create a Verizon.net email address.
To create a sub account go to My Verizon. Select Profile from the top navigation. On the Profile page, scroll down and next to Sub Accounts select See All, then select Add a sub account.

From the My Business Account, you can pay your bill online, access your Verizon Email, add or change your Verizon Internet services and more. If you are a new customer and are having issue accessing features, you might be a "limited access" customer and need to verify your account before you have full access to all My Business Account features.
By default, all new Verizon Online customers with a phone service (FiOS Voice, Standard Landline Plan, or Verizon Wireless) have “limited access” to My Business Account features. Note: If you only have Verizon Online Internet service and/or FiOS TV service only (without landline or wireless phone service) you automatically have full-access to My Business Account features.
According to an FCC mandate, Verizon requires all new customers to authenticate their My Business Account by entering a temporary PIN. The temporary PIN lets us know that your account belongs to you. After you enter the temporary PIN, you’ll have “full-access” to all My Business Account features.
When you login to My Business Account, you’ll see a PIN Request page. By default, all new Verizon Online customers with a phone service (FiOS Voice, Standard Landline Plan, or Verizon Wireless) have “limited access” to My Business Account features, including View Bill and Change Internet Services link.

If you cannot pay or access your bill from the My Verizon Web site, you may be a "limited access" customer. By default, all new Verizon customers are limited access customers until the account is authenticated by a temporary PIN. The temporary PIN lets us know that your account belongs to you. After you enter the temporary PIN, you should have full-access to all My Verizon features, including viewing and paying your bill online.
How do I know if I’m a limited access customer?
When you login to My Verizon, you’ll see a request to have a temporary PIN sent to you.

To create additional accounts for other employees, set up a sub-account. A sub-account is a secondary account associated with your main account.
As the primary account holder, you can create additional sub-accounts and maintain full control over access for your sub-accounts. Each sub-account has its own user name and password.
To Set up Sub-Accounts:
Note: Only Primary or Administrator account users can make changes to sub-accounts. Sub-account creation and management is only available to Fios TV customers.

An email alias can be useful to you in order to personalize your email account. For example, you can create an email alias that is easy for others to remember like YourName@verizon.net. The alias in no way changes your user name and does not create a new mailbox; it becomes the mailing name associated with your primary account and is immediately ready to use.
Example Email address: res85go@verizon.net Email alias: john.smith@verizon.net Any email sent to res85go@verizon.net or john.smith@verizon.net is delivered to the res85go@verizon.net mailbox. |
Note: If you use email software like Outlook Express, you will want to update your email settings to use your new email alias.
